At the age of just 17, Dieter laid the foundation for his career as a professional musician – as a founding member of the legendary Tom Astor Band, which he has helped in almost 40 years not only as a drummer, but also as a band coach to their grandiose live level.
As one of the best country drummers in the German-speaking world, he has had world stars such as John Carter Cash, Charlie McCoy, the Bellamy Brothers, Billy Swan and many more over the years. accompanied. In this genre, he was also awarded the Award for Musician of the Year by the GACMF in 2000 and 2001.

As a sought-after studio musician, composer, lyricist and producer for a wide variety of musicians, Dieter has now immortalized himself on over 150 albums and compilations and in productions for radio and television. In the mid-90s, Stefan Hendrich’s aka Nine found its way to his first techno party and was directly infected. The first records were bought and he started mixing the first beats in 1998. But that was not enough for him, because it should be his own tracks in which he could express his affinity for electronic music.
Various productions were not long in coming and under the pseudonym Thorin & B.L.E.E.F the first releases appeared in 2001 by Tatsu Rec., JumJam Rec. and various other sublabels. As a resident DJ he was an integral part of the Sauerland Goa scene in the well-known club “DIE GRUBE” between 2001 and 2003.
In 2003 a new project was created with DJ Caré aka Carsten Reichling and keyboarder buddy Tobias Arns. The combo Dustybeats known as Progressive House styled Music. Whether with live performance or as a DJ team. Nine & Caré continue to impress the parties far beyond the borders of the Sauerland with their powerful and melodic music.
In 2012 he collaborated with drummer Dieter Gerbe and Stefan took a new path through some live performances of his musical diversity.
