Biography

Mile Diskovic is a passionate producer, DJ and sound engineer from Zurich, Switzerland.

His journey began in the early 80s, when he discovered his fascination for keyboard instruments and exploring different sound worlds as a child. A decisive moment was in 1989,

when he received his first Yamaha keyboard PSS-470 that included a synthesizer section.

This instrument, equipped with a groovy onboard disco beat, marked the beginning of his first experiences with synthesizers and laid the foundation for his later passion.

In 1993 Mile listened to techno for the first time in the schoolyard and was immediately captivated by the deep basslines.

This encounter sparked his love for electronic music and led to his first DJ experience in 1995.

Just one year later he began to gain his first production experience with General MIDI keyboards and a PC. In 1998 he finally got his first synthesizer which expanded his musical possibilities.

Since 1999 his career has been very diverse. It has taken him through numerous music and film sound productions.

He has performed as a DJ and played at Hip Hop, Punk and Piano concerts.

From 2010 to 2013 he deepened his knowledge by studying at the Audio Engineering School SAE, which took his technical skills to a new level.

Mile’s music is deeply rooted in the genres of Techno, Disco, Indie Dance, Funk, Pop, Deep House, Minimal Techno and experimental sounds of all kinds, which he enriches with his unique style that he calls “echo groove”.

His tracks are inspired by a variety of musical influences, including Psychedelic Rock, Disco, Funk, balkan sounds and classical composers such as Händel. Artists such as Der Dritte Raum, Jiggler, Alex Union, The Doors,

Damon Jee and Rick James shape his sound as much as nature itself, which he sees as an inexhaustible source of inspiration.

Since 2017 Mile has released a number of singles and EPs.

Since 2018 he’s hosting the radio show “Galaxyspacenight” on Radio Stadtfilter Winterthur and Radio Bern in Switzerland.

He also uses this platform to share his musical vision and take his listeners into the depths of echo and groove.

Miles’ sound is characterized by a playful lightness and a pinch of humor that gets every dance floor moving and puts a smile on the dancers’ faces.

He always remains true to his creative curiosity and strives to continuously expand the boundaries of electronic music without losing sight of the roots of his inspiration.

So far his music has been released on Antarctic Records, Roo Reords, Evosonic Records and Dicular Records.
